It was a drunken night of Hashing in Nittany Valley when a few Hashers came up with a really stupid idea...create a Hash in Punxsutawney, PA that would run right from Gobbler's Knob, right next to Phil the famous RAT. It's a place that was waiting for 112 years for something like this and 1998 was the year it was a Hashing event as well, or at least another excuse to drink BEER!
Here's how it works; We are a separate Pennsylvania Hash (11 years now). We have 1 Hash a year, every year on February 2 (2/2 or Tu/Tu). We threaten/tease to elect the new officers at every Hash.

- When: February 2, 2008 - Check in starts around 10:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2008 if you are going directly to Punxy (Otherwise, see Note below)
- Greyhound Bus leaves (see below) from State College at 7:00pm SHARP from the North Atherton Wal-Mart Parking Lot! on Friday evening and will be back in State College around 11am Saturday morning.
- Where: Gobbler's Knob, Punxsutawney, PA (See map for location) Transportation will be provided from the gathering site (Duck Island) to the trail which will begin at the Knob and back. And also to see the Rat in the morning (~7:30am Saturday).
- Theme: Rats & "Eternal" BEER
- Hares: TuTu Fairy and Pork Screw (Wee Willie & Beaver Bam Bam Balls in spirit)
- Accom: The great outdoors, no one sleeps until the next day stupid. Bring a flashlight and warm clothes, Phil may have a warm stump, but the rest of us half-minds are gonna be outside in the cold (w/ a bon-fire of course, however). See specific directions below for meeting location.
- Cost Options: Hash Only $25.00, Hash + Haberdashery = $35, Hash + Bus ONLY = $35, Hash + Bus + Haberdashery = $45, Registration deadline is January 25, 2008. On-Site registration is available for price listed PLUS $5.00
